How to set up a safe stove
Before using your wood stove, make sure that the installation is suitable for laws and regulations. Any change made by the distributor, user or person in the product installation may cause the product not to work safely and properly. The same may apply if the parts required for the fireplace/stove operation and safety are removed and removed.
Fire Prevention Measures
The use of fireplace/stove can cause any danger. Therefore, be sure to follow the instructions below: Make sure that furniture and other flammable substances are not very close to the fireplace/ stove. Wait the fire to extinguish completely, never extinguish with water. When the fireplace/stove is used, it is quite hot and causes burns when touched. Remove the ashes when the fireplace/stove cools. Ash may contain sparks, so it should be stored in a non -flammable container. The ashes should be thrown away in an outdoor environment, outdoors or in a place where no fire is dangerous.
Ventilation Information
Warning! Please check that sufficient air has entered the room where the fireplace/stove will be installed. Inadequate air in the room may cause smoke gas to spread to the room. This is a very dangerous situation! Smoke smell, drowsiness, nausea and feeling of illness are symptoms of this. Make sure that the ventilation holes are not clogged and the top is not covered in the room where the fireplace/stove is located. Avoid mechanical fan ventilation in rooms with fireplace/stove, this may cause negative pressure and can draw toxic gases into the room. Some products are designed to send the outdoor air directly to the fireplace/stove. It allows the room and the house to take the air required for burning while the lid of the fireplace/stove is closed, regardless of the ventilation system. (See the user manual for each product)
Stove installation
Note! Make sure that the fireplace/ stove has not been damaged before starting the installation. The product is heavy! Someone may need to help you when installing the fireplace/stove.
Stove floor / foundation / layer
Make sure that the floor is powerful enough for the fireplace/stove. If the fireplace/stove is to be mounted on a flammable floor, a heat shield must be installed behind the product to protect the floor from radian heat. On the other hand, it should be covered with a plate made of metal or other fireproof materials under or in front of the fireplace/stove. The recommended minimum thickness is 0.9mm. Linoleum, carpet and so on. Anything made of flammable materials should be removed under the floor plate. Requirements for the protection of flammable floors must comply with the front plate national laws and regulations. Apply to building management or authorities for restrictions and installation requirements.
